"Before launching Proppel, I ran an e-commerce brand and a performance marketing agency. In both businesses, I hired remote talent extensively to help my companies scale profitably.
That first-hand experience shaped how we operate today. It gave me a deep understanding of what it really takes to hire well, and it's why we work as long-term partners to our clients, not just recruiters.

We only charge a one-off fee equivalent to 20% of the candidate's annual salary with no recurring fees or hidden costs, to be paid only once you make a hire, for both LATAM and US-based candidates.

You’ll pay the LATAM candidates you hire through Proppel directly, as in most cases you’ll hire them as contractors. You can choose to use platforms like Deel, Wise, PayPal or direct transfer depending on your preference. If you use Deel, make sure you use the contractor option, not EOR.

We’re focused on full-time permanent positions, so unfortunately, we won’t be able to help with part-time roles.

The process usually takes 2-4 weeks for LATAM talent and 4-6 weeks for US talent. In most cases, we’ll be able to present the first LATAM candidates within 5 working days and 10 working days for US-based candidates. From there, it’s up to you how fast we move, depending on how long your interview process is and how fast you can provide feedback.

Depending on where you’re based, LATAM’s time zone difference with the US goes from 2 hours behind to 4 hours ahead. Here are some examples:
EDT is 1 hour behind Argentina & Brazil / 1 hour ahead of Colombia / 2 hours ahead of Mexico.
CDT is 2 hours behind Argentina & Brazil / Same time zone as Colombia / 1 hour ahead of Mexico.
PDT is 4 hours behind Argentina & Brazil / 2 hours behind Colombia / 1 hour behind Mexico.
